Sun

Sun Yuhan (Beijing, China) currently lives between Beijing and London. She holds a BFA in Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts in New York and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Curating at Goldsmiths, University of London. Transitioning from an artist to a curatorial researcher, she aims to explore more practice-oriented ways of engaging with the public.

Sun’s personal interests lie in community cultural studies and public participation in exhibitions. Through discussions, collaborations, and dialogues, she seeks to reconnect people with places, helping artists and communities establish new spaces. Her goal is to make the concept of collective resource-sharing a sustainable model, transforming art from being solely an aesthetic experience into a new mode of cultural exchange. She frequently collaborates with practitioners from diverse fields and backgrounds, making exhibitions more meaningful within multidisciplinary, multi-perspective, and multi-contextual frameworks.
